Michael Villar

Michael Villar has extensive experience in the composites industry, primarily with TPI Composites, Inc. since October 2007, where current roles include Technical Specialist in Global Engineering since 2014, focused on the global technical launch of new products and resolving technical issues at local sites. Previous positions at TPI included Engineering Technical Lead for new factory launches, Technical Manager overseeing significant projects, and Lead Process Engineer. Michael's early career included roles as a Composite Technician at CompTech, where responsibilities involved fabricating and repairing composite body panels for racing applications. Michael holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.
