Joanna MacDonald

Joanna MacDonald has a diverse range of work experience. Joanna is currently the Head of Internal Communications at TPXimpact since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Thanet District Council from February 2017 to May 2022 as a Communications & Engagement Manager, where they were responsible for designing and managing communication strategies, ensuring effective internal communication, and providing PR advice and counsel.

Before that, Joanna worked at H+K Strategies UK from July 2013 to April 2016, starting as an Associate Director and progressing to Senior Account Director. In this role, they developed and managed strategic communications for high-profile clients in the energy industry.

Joanna's earlier experience includes working at PPS Group from January 2009 to June 2013, where they held the position of Account Executive to Account Director. Joanna focused on stakeholder engagement, media relations, and political engagement strategies across various sectors.

Joanna also has experience in recruitment, having worked at Michael Page as a Consultant in the HR Interim and Contract Division from September 2006 to November 2008. Joanna demonstrated exceptional performance, ranking as the second highest biller in HR nationwide and achieving the annual high fliers recognition.
