Celia Takachi

Laboratory Supervisor at Trace Genomics

Celia Takachi has a diverse work experience in the field of research and agriculture. Celia started their career as a Research Assistant at the Iapar Parana State Agronomy Institute in 1993. Celia then joined the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) as a Research Assistant in 2006, where they worked until 2010. In 2012, they joined The Climate Corp., Solum Labs Division as a Research Associate/Extractions Lead, where they worked until 2017. Celia then joined Trace Genomics in 2020 as a Research Associate and later became a Laboratory Supervisor in February 2022.

Celia Takachi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Soil Science and Agronomy, with a focus on General studies, from UEL - Universidade Estadual de Londrina. This academic achievement was attained between the years 1986 and 1991. Following this, Celia pursued further education at Iwate University where they earned a Master's degree in Soil Science and Agronomy. However, the time period for this degree is not specified. Later on, from 1997 to 2000, they continued their studies at Iwate University and obtained a Doctorate degree in the Science of Biotic Environment.
