Michael Farnum

Michael Farnum serves as Advisory CISO at Trace3 since May 2023. Michael is the Founder and President of HouSecCon, a prominent information security conference in the Houston area, established in October 2010. Previously, Michael held several positions at Set Solutions, a Trace3 Company, from December 2017 to May 2023, including Chief Technology Officer and Director of Solutions Architects - South. Michael has also contributed as a Board Member at ThreatGEN and worked at Alert Logic as Principal of the Cloud Security Practice, focusing on application security in the cloud. Other notable roles include Practice Principal at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Solutions Manager and Security Advocate at Accuvant, and Information Security Manager at The Menninger Clinic. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from LeTourneau University, earned between 1999 and 2001.
