Steven Posey is the Vice President of Finance and Administration at TraceGains. Prior to joining TraceGains in August of 2018, Steven served as the Corporate Controller at Axcient, a $50M+ SAAS company. At Axcient, Steven was responsible for the implementation of ASC 606 (revenue recognition), ASC-360 (long-lived asset impairment) preparation, and ASC 718 (share-based compensation) preparation. Steven also played a key role in the implementation of internal controls and accounting processes.

Before their time at Axcient, Steven served as the Chief Financial Officer at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, a $50M+ higher education institution. As CFO, Steven was responsible for financial controls implementation, long-range planning and budgeting, business reviews and board reporting presentation, analysis and forecast management, capital expenditure management, and business model and program profitability management.

Previously, Steven held the position of VP - Finance at RGS Energy from May 2013 to September 2014, Director of Compliance Services at Rivet Software from July 2010 to April 2013, Vice President, Controller at Incentra Solutions, Inc from April 2008 to July 2010, and Director of Financial Management at Republic Financial Corp from January 2007 to March 2008.

Steven Posey has earned a Doctor of Business Administration in Finance from Walden University, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from California State University-San Bernardino, and a Bachelor of Arts in Administration (Accounting) from California State University-San Bernardino.
