Shawn D'Souza

Shawn D'Souza has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and responsibilities.

In 2015, they worked as a Network Analyst at eClerx, where they handled advanced troubleshooting for Comcast customers.

From 2017 to 2018, Shawn worked at Ashtech Infotech Pvt Ltd as a Linux Support Engineer.

In 2018, they joined MonetaGo Inc. as a Support Engineer for Blockchain Infrastructure, where they monitored and supported the application of multiple clients based on blockchains. Shawn also implemented infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform, Packer, and Ansible. Additionally, they designed and built self-healing infrastructures with monitoring and alerting platforms.

From 2020 to 2022, Shawn worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS), initially as a Cloud Engineer focused on deployment and later as an Operations Engineer for AWS Managed Services.

In 2022, they joined Zeta as a DevOps Engineer II, and from January to June 2023, they held the role of Senior DevOps Engineer.

Currently, Shawn is working at TraceLink as a Senior Cloud Engineer (Cloud Operations Developer), starting in July 2023.

Shawn D'Souza's education history is as follows:

Shawn attended Fatima High School in Ambarnath from 1999 to 2008 and obtained their SSC degree.

From 2008 to 2010, they attended St. John The Baptist Jr. College in Thane and completed their HSC degree in the field of Science.

In 2010, Shawn enrolled at the University of Mumbai and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Shawn completed this program in 2014.

During their BSc studies, in 2012 and 2013, they also attended St. Angelos Professional Education where they earned a degree in Software Engineering with a focus on Computer Science.

Subsequently, Shawn pursued an MSc degree in Computer Science at the University of Mumbai specializing in Business Intelligence & Big Data Analysis. Shawn completed this program between 2015 and 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Shawn has also obtained several certifications. Shawn earned the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation in December 2021. Prior to that, in September 2021, they obtained the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification, also from The Linux Foundation.

In 2017, Shawn obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Classic 2018 Certified Associate Architect certification from Oracle.

Furthermore, in 2019, they acquired the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate and AWS Certified Developer - Associate certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
