Sivabalan Umapathy

Sivabalan Umapathy has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Sivabalan started their career in 1999 at Hewlett Packard as a Systems Analyst and worked there until 2004. Following that, they joined OATSystems, a division of Checkpoint Systems, as a Solutions Architect from 2004 to 2008. Sivabalan then continued their journey at Checkpoint Systems, where they held various positions including Solution Architect, Product Manager, and Senior Solution Architect from 2008 to 2019. In 2010, Sivabalan co-founded Wakelet, a content discovery platform, where they set the vision and product direction. Finally, they joined TraceLink in 2019 and has worked as a Senior Product Manager, Platform Experience, Manager of Product Management, and currently as Senior Manager of Product Management.

Sivabalan Umapathy's education history includes obtaining a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science & Engineering from PSG College of Technology from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science & Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Sivabalan Umapathy has also acquired several certifications. Sivabalan obtained the "Graph Developer - Associate" certification from Apollo GraphQL in April 2023, as well as the same certification from the same institution in the same month and year.
