Derek Pinkerton

Derek Pinkerton's work experience begins in 1999 as a Programmer at Midas Systems Corporation, where they updated core modules and interfaces for the Midas Integrated Accounting System and developed an inventory management program. Derek then worked as a Senior Web Programmer at Electronic Surfer from 2000 to 2004, programming back-ends and designing software utilities. From 2003 to 2005, they were a Senior Web Programmer at RKR Media Associates, where they developed websites, maintained the server, and provided technical support. Derek then joined Qualtrax, Inc. in 2005 as a Lead Software Engineer, leading a team in developing web-based enterprise document management software. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Development Team Lead at Meridium, Inc., leading a team in developing Azure-based SAAS software. Derek also joined GE Digital in 2012 and held the position of Staff Software Engineer until 2019, leading a team in developing SAAS software on MS Azure. In 2019, Derek joined Block.one as a Web Developer, and in 2020, they moved to Voice, initially as a Senior Platform Engineer and later as the Principal Platform Engineer. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Tracer as a Senior Software Engineer II.

Derek Pinkerton received their High School Diploma in Computer Sciences from Temecula Valley High School in 1999 after completing their education there from 1996 to 1999. Derek then pursued further studies in Computer Science at Mt. San Jacinto College from 1999 to 2003. No degree was specified for their college education.
