Stefan Lemvig Glimberg

Stefan Lemvig Glimberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stefan Lemvig started their career as a Software Developer at Binary Constructors in 2007 and worked there until 2009. Following that, they joined Alpha Solutions as a System Developer, where they focused on software development and web-page back-end solutions until 2010.

In 2010, Stefan joined the Technical University of Denmark as a PhD Student. Their research project, titled "Desktop Scientific Computing on Consumer Graphics Cards," focused on numerical methods for partial differential equations on massively parallel processors. Stefan Lemvig completed their PhD in 2013.

After completing their PhD, Stefan worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at Lloyd's Register Consulting from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they developed efficient and scalable numerical methods for enhanced oil and gas recovery. Stefan Lemvig also managed a large joint industry project called OPTION, funded by Innovation Fund Denmark.

In 2011, Stefan had a brief stint as a Research Scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they focused on high-performance GPU-based scientific computing.

Currently, Stefan is associated with TracInnovations, where they hold the role of Lead Software Developer since October 2016. Recently, they have also taken on the additional responsibility of Chief Technology Officer.

Stefan Lemvig Glimberg obtained a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technical University of Denmark from 2010 to 2013. Stefan Lemvig also pursued a PhD in Scientific Computing at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for a brief period in 2011. In the years 2003 to 2009, Stefan completed their Cand. Scient. degree in Computer Science at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. Furthermore, they attended Harvard Business School in 2015, where they participated in the Pasteur Program - Leading the Virtual Company, although no specific degree was obtained. In 2014, Stefan received certification in The APM Project Management Qualification from the Association for Project Management.
