Michael Horvath has extensive experience in academia and the private sector, serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Stanford University from 1994 to 2000, and as an Associate Professor at Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business from 2000 to 2004. In addition to academic roles, Michael co-founded Kana Communications, where Michael served as CFO from 1996 to 1998, and GlycoFi as CFO and VP of Operations from 2001 to 2005. Michael's entrepreneurial efforts include co-founding and leading Nyfik as CEO since January 2025. Michael has held various board member positions, including at Sanibel Sea School from 2008 to 2013, The Family Place from 2007 to April 2012, Trackman since April 2024, and Movemint since May 2025. Notably, Michael also held the position of Chairman and President at Strava from November 2014 to May 2017, contributing to Strava's mission to inspire an active lifestyle.
