Praveen Kumar Range Gowda

Praveen Kumar Range Gowda has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2006. Praveen Kumar began their career at Rass Technologies Pvt Limited as a Project Engineer, where they developed and integrated embedded Linux OS, designed and developed drivers for various i/p and display hardware, and did board bring-up, loader, bootloader(U-boot), 2. 6. 3xx kernel, and userspace development. In 2010, they moved to Tata Elxsi as a Specialist, where they designed and developed cutting edge embedded products, and supported the full life cycle of the product. Praveen Kumar worked on ARM based IP Phone, doing board bring up using U-boot and Linux, QT EMBEDDED footprint and performance optimisation, and developing keypad and LCD drivers. In 2017, they joined Comcast Silicon Valley Innovation Center as a Software Developer (Consultant), where they developed and integrated RDK-B device-specific components with SOC partners and OEM partners, and drove technical implementation of strategic projects with SOC and OEM partners. Currently, they are a Senior Software Developer at a Venture Backed Stealth Startup.

Praveen Kumar Range Gowda completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2001 and 2004.
