Andrea Nelson, SPHR, SHRM-PA

Andrea Nelson, SPHR, SHRM-PA has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Andrea is currently the Founder, CEO, and Mentor of InovarHR (2019), Global Head of HR for TrackStreet (2020), Instructor for the Human Resource Management Certificate program at UC Santa Barbara (2020), Global Head of People & Culture for STAGE11 (2021), and VP, People & Culture, Senior Director of People & Culture, and Director of People & Culture for FastSpring (2017-2020).

Prior to this, Andrea was Human Resources Operations for CMC Rescue, Inc. (2015), Director, People & Culture Operations and Director, Administration for Invoca (2009-2015), Owner of ASK Graphic Design & Marketing (2005), and Administrative Manager/Bookkeeper for Racecraft/Santa Barbara Swim Club (2008). Andrea also held the role of Human Resources/Corporate Secretary/Bookkeeper for the Nike Tournament of Champions (2003).

Andrea Nelson, SPHR, SHRM-PA has a diverse educational background. Andrea completed a Certificate Program in Business & Professional Accounting from UC Santa Barbara between 2011 and 2014. Andrea also completed a Certificate Program in Human Resources Management from UC Santa Barbara between 2001 and 2004. In addition, they obtained a SHRM People Analytics Specialty certification from SHRM in April 2020 and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2016.
