George Dunning is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in platform and backend engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Platform Engineer at Tracr since September 2022, George previously held multiple roles at SteamaCo from July 2017 to August 2022, including Senior Software Engineer where responsibilities included leading architecture sessions, mentoring junior engineers, and overseeing product performance reviews. Earlier positions at SteamaCo included Software Engineer, Junior Software Engineer, and Software Engineering Intern, with contributions ranging from firmware development for smart meters to automating production deployments. George holds a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science with Industrial Experience from The University of Manchester, attained in 2020, and studied at Coleg Cambria from 2014 to 2016.
