Mohan Mahadevan

Mohan Mahadevan is currently the Chief Science Officer at Tractable. Prior to Tractable, Mohan was the Senior VP of Applied Science at Onfido from March 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they were the VP of Applied Science at Onfido from January 2019 to March 2021. Prior to Onfido, Mohan worked at Amazon as the Head of Computer Vision and Machine Learning (Robotics Applications) from September 2017 to December 2018.

At Amazon, Mohan established a new and dynamic group of scientists, engineers, and visiting researchers to enable the next generation of robots to sense, see, learn and make intelligent decisions. This group quickly became a creative engine and was constantly approached to develop new robotic automation applications and solutions for the fulfillment centers.

Mohan has a proven track record of delivering results. At Amazon, they drove clarity with customers and stakeholders, obtaining alignment on the first set of significant deliveries. Mohan also delivered fully functional proof of concept systems for three foundational robotic applications. In addition, they delivered key components for an ML based robotic system that was in production for 2018 peak. Lastly, they created collaborations and joint technology development across global teams within Amazon.
