Julie Mendez

Julie Mendez has a diverse work experience in the PR and communications field. Julie began their career at Edelman, where they held various positions such as Assistant Account Executive, Account Executive, Senior Account Executive, Account Supervisor, and Senior Account Supervisor. During their time at Edelman, they worked with clients from industries including Consumer Packaged Goods, Pharmaceutical, Restaurant, and Telecommunications. Their responsibilities included developing strategic client counsel for integrated marketing programs, crisis communications counsel, and overseeing the creation of press materials and social media content.

In 2013, Julie joined Tractenberg & Co. as a Senior Director and later became the Associate Vice President. At Tractenberg & Co., they founded the Multicultural Division, focusing on beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands. Their primary role involved providing strategic counsel for communications programs targeting Hispanic and African-American markets.
