Matthew Briefer, CPA, is an experienced financial professional currently serving as President of Traction Accounting Group since 2016, where the firm provides outsourced accounting services to businesses focused on impactful missions. Prior to this role, Matthew functioned as CFO at cove.is from 2014 to 2016, collaborating with the management team on expansion, operations, and strategic decision-making, while managing financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Earlier experience includes a position in Transaction Services at PwC from 2012 to 2014, where Matthew aided various clients in financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arizona.
