Gavin K.

Gavin K. is an experienced technologist and business leader with a 40-year career spanning international consultancy and executive corporate roles across various industry sectors. Notably, they co-founded Group X, significantly increasing ICT enrollment in Queensland, and were instrumental in establishing an undersea fibre optic connection from the Sunshine Coast. As a Queensland resident, Gavin has held numerous directorships and chaired several organizations, including Silicon Coast and SunCoast Angels, while also contributing as an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology. In recognition of their contributions to the field of ICT, Gavin was inducted into the Queensland Pearcey Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2018 and became a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society Hall of Fame in 2021.
