Ethel Stephens has extensive work experience in the advertising industry. Ethel started their career at The Bloom Agency in 1980, where they served as a Broadcast Business Manager and was later promoted to Senior Business Manager. In 1986, they joined Tracy-Locke as a Senior Broadcast Business Manager, where they worked until 1993. Ethel then started their own casting company, Ethel Stephens Casting, and served as an independent casting director until 1997. Ethel joined DDB Dallas in 1997 as a Director of Broadcast Business Affairs, and in 2001, they joined TracyLocke as the Director of Integrated Content Business Affairs.

Ethel Stephens has pursued their education at Southern Methodist University, where they received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus in Theatre.
