Peter Deans

Peter Deans has a wealth of experience in the risk and finance sectors. Peter is the Creator & Founder of 52 Risks, a Director at Notwithoutrisk Consulting, and a Mentor in the Macquarie Incubator Mentoring Program. Peter has also held positions as a Non Executive Director at Trade For Good and The RegTech Association, a Chair & Non-Executive Director at Maia Financial, a Member of the QUT Economics and Finance School Advisory Committee, and Chief Risk Officer at Bank of Queensland and BankWest. Prior to this, they were an Independent Risk & Strategy Consultant / Director at Alma Grove Consulting.

Peter Deans obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Accounting from the University of Melbourne between 1984 and 1986. Peter also attended Harvard Business School, though no degree was obtained.
