Peter Cherasia

Peter Cherasia serves as Chairman of the Board at Trade Informatics LLC since July 2014, where a team of senior executives develops advanced quantitative trading models for major institutional investors. Additionally, Peter is a Strategic Advisor at Conversion Capital LLC, contributing to a premier Venture Capital Fund that focuses on technological innovations in financial services. Peter has been a Committee Member of the U.S. Treasury Office of Financial Research Advisory Committee since October 2012, providing guidance on financial stability. Peter chairs the Rutgers University School of Engineering Advisory Board and serves as Vice Chairman of the Rutgers University Board of Overseers. Formerly, Peter held senior roles at J.P. Morgan Investment Bank from 2008 to 2013, including Global Head of Market Strategies, and spent over 20 years at Bear Stearns in various leadership positions. Peter earned a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University College of Engineering between 1981 and 1984.
