Christian Hecker

Christian Hecker heads the establishment and strategic development of the Trade Republic Bank. He founded FinTech together with Thomas Pischke and Marco Cancellieri in 2015 to bring commission-free securities trading to everyone's mobile phone.

Before founding the Trade Republic, Christian had many years of experience in banking and finance. He worked in the investment banking department of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and accompanied a large number of capital market transactions in the start-up and technology sector.

Christian holds two bachelor degrees in business administration and philosophy from the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.
