James Myland

James Myland has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James started their career as an Internet & Multimedia Designer at Nettrak Global Ltd, where they created and maintained high-quality websites and worked on training packages. James then worked as a Digital Media Specialist at The PR Partnership Scotland Ltd before joining Aberdeen College as a Lecturer of Web Management.

In 2002, James became the Owner of MyDent Multimedia and Web Design, offering their expertise in multimedia design and web development. James later joined BNI Whisky as a Multimedia and Web Design specialist before transitioning to a role as a Senior Web Developer at Hotel Perfect.

James then served as a Full Stack Developer - Lead at The Dash Group, where they developed cross-browser and highly converting landing pages and integrated core business systems with third-party APIs.

From 2018 to 2020, James worked as a Full-stack Developer - Lead at St Austell Brewery, where they maintained and developed websites, created digital campaigns, managed APIs, and supported stakeholders with digital requirements.

In 2020, James joined Thinkology as a Full Stack Developer, contributing to the development team and utilizing technologies such as Laravel, jQuery, CSS, and MySQL.

Currently, James is working at TradeCentric as an Integrations Engineer Lead, where they lead the integration team and contributes their expertise in developing integrations.

Throughout their career, James has gained expertise in an extensive range of technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and various CMS platforms such as WordPress and Laravel. James has also demonstrated skills in using tools such as Google Analytics, Git, Jira, and various Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

James Myland attended Moray College from 1996 to 1998, where they earned an HND degree in New Media. Prior to that, they attended Elgin Academy from 1990 to 1996, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. In 2015, they obtained a certification as a Google Analytics Qualified Individual from Google.
