Randolf Julian

Engineering Manager at Trader Interactive

Randolf Julian has extensive work experience in the field of database administration and systems analysis. Randolf began their career in 1991 at the Bureau of Internal Revenue, where they served as a Systems Analyst and Head of the Revenue Data Center. During their time there, they played a major role in the BIR Tax Computerization Project, a multi-million government project funded by the World Bank. Randolf'sresponsibilities included designing and developing various subsystems such as the Registration System, Collection and Bank Reconciliation System, and Returns Processing System. Randolf also utilized CASE*Tools 5.0, SQL*Forms, and SQL*ReportWriter in their work.

In 2001, Randolf joined RCG Information Technology as a Systems Analyst before transitioning to Trader Electronic Media as a Database Administrator. Randolf later joined Cox Auto Trader as a Database Manager and then Dominion Enterprises as a Lead Database Administrator. Randolf was responsible for managing databases and ensuring their efficiency and security.

Since 2017, Randolf has been working at Trader Interactive as an Engineering Manager, overseeing the technical aspects of projects and leading a team of engineers. Randolf also held the position of Senior Database Administrator at the company before taking on their current role.

Randolf Julian attended Ateneo de Manila University and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Later, they enrolled in AMA University and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Randolf obtained a certification as a MariaDB Certified DBA Associate from MariaDB Corporation in February 2019.
