Iryna Shcharbakova

Iryna Shcharbakova has a diversified work experience in the field of design and marketing. Iryna began their career as a Design Engineer at RECIF Technologies Bel in 2002, where they designed electronic cables and boards for semi-conductor robots and implemented a library of electronic components. Iryna then worked as a Marketing Intern at Robotics Design Inc. in 2010, where they conducted research on B2B Internet facilities and proposed design and performance solutions for the company website. In 2013, they joined Immunotec Inc. as a Graphic & Web Design Coordinator, where they developed and maintained the front-end functionality of the E-commerce Immunotec website and created visually appealing, W3C and cross-browser compliant web content. In their most recent role as a Web Designer at autoTRADER.ca since 2017, they have been responsible for prototyping, mocking-up, and designing responsive web pages based on goals and UX principles, identifying UX/UI issues while testing websites, and managing banner web design within digital advertising projects.

Iryna Shcharbakova's education history begins with their completion of the Administration and Informatics DEC program at College polytechnic in Novopolotsk, Belarus from 1994 to 1996. Following this, from 1996 to 2001, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technologies and Control at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics in Minsk, Belarus. Later, in 2012 and 2013, they attended CEGEP - John Abbott College, where they completed the A.E.C. program in Web Technology. In addition to their formal education, Iryna obtained a certification in UI/UX Design from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2021.
