Jeff Wilts

Jeff Wilts has a diverse work experience in the field of data management and analytics. Jeff started their career at Purolator Courier in 2001, where they held various roles, including Manager of Architecture and Business Intelligence. Jeff then moved on to Innovapost in 2003, where they served as a Director, managing the Business Intelligence Team supporting Purolator Courier.

In 2007, Wilts joined Teradata as a Senior Professional Services Manager, overseeing a team delivering projects for the Royal Bank of Canada. Jeff worked here until 2009, when they joined Loblaw Companies as the Director of Information Management COE. At Loblaw, they directed teams responsible for the BI and analytics component of a transformation program.

Continuing their career, Wilts joined Canadian Tire Corporation in 2012, taking on the role of Associate Vice President in various domains such as IM, EIM, and IDEA+. In these roles, they were responsible for improving data capabilities, repatriating data warehouses, and developing an IM foundations program.

In 2017, Wilts joined Acosta Marketing Group as the Vice President of Data & Analytics Services. Here, they built a cross-functional team to design and operate a data platform for the group of companies.

In 2018, Wilts advanced their career by becoming the Global Head of Data Services at Fleet Complete. Jeff'sresponsibilities included building a global data services capability to enhance insights, scalability, and support growth through M&A and organic growth. Jeff also recruited a global team to support operations worldwide.

Prior to their current position, Wilts worked at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) as an Instructor and Author on a part-time basis. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Architect at autoTRADER.ca, which they have held since August 2020.

Jeff Wilts has an education history that includes an MBA from Queen's University, which they obtained in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a BSc in Computing & Physics from Wilfrid Laurier University between 1991 and 1996. In addition to their formal education, Jeff Wilts has obtained certifications as a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer and as a PADI Certified Open Water SCUBA Diver.
