Henry Ashton is a Software Engineer in the Structured Data Team at TradingHub since April 2023, focusing on writing and maintaining C# code for customer data onboarding in non-tabular formats. Prior to this role, Henry served as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge's Computational and Biological Learning Lab from November 2022 to March 2023. Henry founded Anywayed Ltd, where engagement from March 2018 to 2019 involved exploring machine learning applications in market surveillance for an investment bank. Additionally, Henry worked as an Emerging Markets Assistant Portfolio Manager at Matterhorn Investment Management from July 2007 to August 2017, specializing in global emerging and frontier equity investments. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science and an MRES in Financial Computing from UCL, a Master's in Economics from the University of Oxford, a Master's in Forensic Accounting from the University of Portsmouth, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, complemented by an Erasmus year at the University of Geneva.
