Edward Maxwell

Edward Maxwell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Edward currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Home Health at Traditions Health since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional President of Home Health and Hospice/Physician Assistant at the same company from March 2021 to January 2023.

From 2018 to 2021, Edward worked at Encompass Health as the Hospice Regional Vice President of Operations/Physician Assistant.

Before that, they were employed at Visiting Physicians Association as the Regional Director of Operations for Texas and Colorado, where they also worked as a Physician Assistant from 2009 to 2014.

Between 2008 and 2009, Edward served as a Neurosurgical ICU PA at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

Their previous experience includes working as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant and Assistant Clinical Professor at UTHSCSA from 1996 to 2008, a Physician Assistant/Practice Manager at Radiology Associates from 2000 to 2001, and a Physician Assistant/Family Practice at the United States Air Force from 1996 to 2000.

Edward began their career in healthcare as a Radiology Technologist/NCO in the United States Air Force from 1989 to 1994.

Edward Maxwell completed a fellowship in Emergency Medicine at UTHSC/University Hospital. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Physicians Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.
