National Palliative Care Program Management at Traditions Health

Michelle Melvin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Michelle started their career as an Accounting Assistant at JF Wine Imports in 2006, where they were responsible for managing accounts receivable and performing marketing duties. In 2009, they became the Director of Finance at Mediterranean Wine Merchants, where they handled federal, state, and county-level alcohol licensing and reported monthly excise taxes.

In 2013, Michelle joined Senior Citizens, Inc. as a Center Director. Their responsibilities included planning and implementing daily activities for senior citizens, conducting initial assessments and re-evaluations, and working independently at a remote location.

From 2014 to 2020, Michelle worked at Homestead Hospice & Palliative Care. Michelle initially served as the Crisis Care and Palliative Care Coordinator, where they managed a staff of 10-12 clinicians, coordinated care for actively dying patients, and developed and implemented tasks related to the Palliative Care Program. In 2020, they were promoted to Corporate Palliative Care Administrator, overseeing the program's operation at a corporate level.

Currently, Michelle is working at Traditions Health as the National Palliative Care Program Management, starting in 2022.

Michelle Melvin earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from Georgia State University from 2010 to 2013. Michelle later attended the Project Management Institute in 2019 and 2020 to pursue a Project Management Professional degree. The field of study for the latter qualification was not specified.
