Daniel Altenritter

Daniel Altenritter is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, having served as Vice President of R&D at Traeger, Inc. since November 2017, where responsibilities include leading the R&D team in creating innovative products. Previously, Daniel held various engineering leadership roles at Tekna, Inc. from August 2012 to November 2017, providing engineering consultation services focused on medical and consumer markets, with clients such as Stryker and Kitchenaid. Daniel's career also includes product development engineering at Disher Design and Development, where contributions spanned new product discovery and market research, and a project engineering position at Steelcase Coalesse, focusing on product testing and design validation. Daniel holds a B.S. in Engineering, specializing in Product Design and Manufacturing from Grand Valley State University.
