Josh Robertson

Josh Robertson is an experienced communications professional specializing in conservation and wildlife management. Currently serving as the Communications Manager - Media at TRAFFIC, Josh focuses on storytelling to combat illegal wildlife trade and promote sustainable practices. As the Director and Co-Founder of Conservation Conversation, Josh develops digital content and collaborates to enhance outreach. Previous roles include Science and Conservation Communications Officer at Chester Zoo, where award-winning conservation films and impactful strategies were created, and consultant for the Wildlife Conservation Society, specializing in character-driven narratives. Josh also has a solid ecological background, having worked in various ecological survey positions. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Conservation Science from Imperial College London and a degree in International Wildlife Biology from the University of South Wales.
