Darryl Michaud

Darryl Michaud has a diverse range of work experience. Darryl started their career in 2009 as a Laborer at Rinne Construction. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley SSL. In 2012, they became a Junior Specialist at ISI, subcontracted to Lockheed Martin's Space Object Tracking Facility. Darryl provided assistance in the development of a mobile-component interferometer. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Junior Specialist II at Infrared Spatial Interferometer (ISI) at UC Berkeley Space Sciences Lab (SSL), where they participated in nightly astronomical observation and managed local and distributed Unix networks. In 2015, they worked as a Transportation Engineering Intern at DKS Associates, where they authored an operational concept advising the Oregon DOT on V2I technology preparations. In 2016, they were a Research Intern at TU Delft, where they assisted in a technical feasibility study of using automated vehicles in mixed traffic. Since 2017, they have been with Traffic Technology Services Inc., starting as a Transportation Engineering Associate and later becoming the R&D Lead.

Darryl Michaud pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 2006, they began their undergraduate studies in Physics/Astrophysics. The exact institution where they obtained their bachelor's degree is not specified. However, they completed their BA degree in this field in 2011. Afterward, from 2015 to 2018, Darryl attended Portland State University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation.
