Head of Quality Education at Trafford College

Gemma Hawkley-Holt is currently the Head of Quality Education at Trafford College. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Teaching, Learning and Assessment at The Trafford College Group from August 2018 to August 2020. Gemma has also held the position of University Centre Head of School for Education and Professional Development at Stockport College from August 2017 to August 2020. Gemma began their career at Stockport College in January 2008 as an Advanced Leader in Learning. Gemma has been with the college for over 12 years and has held various positions during their tenure. Gemma is a highly skilled and experienced educator with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Gemma is dedicated to their work and is always looking for ways to improve the quality of education they provide. Gemma is a strong leader and an excellent communicator. Gemma Hawkley-Holt has a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education and Training from Edge Hill University, a BA (Hons) in English Literature from The University of Salford, and is currently a teacher at Stretford Grammar School.
