María Patricia Burgos has extensive experience in various roles within the corporate and government sectors. María Patricia started their career at the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies in 2006, where they served as an Advisor to the Minister until 2010. In 2012, they joined Trafigura, initially working as the Government and Institutional Relations chief until 2014. María Patricia then became the Corporate Social Responsibility Manager from 2014 to 2016, followed by the role of Group Head Communities and Social Programmes for the Americas until their most recent position as the Head of Corporate Affairs LATAM, a position they held from 2018 to the present.
María Patricia Burgos completed a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Marketing from CESA between 2006 and 2008. Their undergraduate education was at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from 2002 to 2006.
