Rajat Maroo

Rajat Maroo is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Regional Credit Manager for Metals & Minerals in North America and the Indian Subcontinent at Trafigura since September 2011. In this role, Rajat Maroo is responsible for credit risk assessment of customers across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, including ratings, limit approvals, and risk mitigation, while also managing global credit support teams and supporting structured deals. Prior to Trafigura, Rajat Maroo held various roles at J.P. Morgan, including Credit Manager and Senior Credit Analyst, and began a career as a Management Trainee at Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. Educational qualifications include a PGPM in Finance and Strategy from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, a B.Com from St. Xavier's College, and studies at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at the CA level 2.
