Sipko Schat

Sipko Schat joined the Board of Directors of the Trafigura Group Pte Ltd in January 2016. Previously he worked in the Rabobank Group for over twenty-five years, where he was a member of the Executive Board of Rabobank Nederland. He was also responsible for the Wholesale Clients division of Rabobank International and managed the Wholesale Management Team.

A Dutch citizen, Sipko is a Non-Executive Director of various companies including an independent member of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Risk Committee for Rothschild & Co (formerly Paris Orléans); Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Vion N.V., and a senior independent Director of OCI N.V. Sipko holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
