Thibaut Barthelme has a diverse work experience in the finance and banking sector. Thibaut started their career as an Internal Auditor at GE Healthcare in 2007 before moving on to work as an Assistant Senior Sales at HSBC in 2008. In 2009, they worked as an Analyst in Syndicated Loan Origination at Credit Agricole CIB. Thibaut then joined Credit Agricole CIB again in 2010 as an Associate in Structured Commodity Finance. In 2013, they joined Essar Capital UK Limited as a Structured Finance Associate and worked there until 2017. Thibaut currently holds a position at Trafigura as the Head of Trade Finance - Refined Metals, a role they have been in since July 2020. Thibaut Barthelme attended EDHEC Business School from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Master's degree in Management with a focus on Finance. In 2008, they also briefly studied at Universidad ESAN for an MBA in Finance, but did not complete the degree.
