Carles Tomás Martí

Carles Tomás Martí has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as CEO of Pley since April 2023. Prior to being CEO, they worked as the CTO of Pley from November 2016 to April 2023.

Before their time at Pley, Carles worked at Pacemaker Music AB as a Software Engineer from October 2013 to October 2016. During their tenure, they primarily focused on iOS development for the Pacemaker app, working on UI, network layer, and communication with the watchOS app.

Carles also has experience as a Software Engineer at KRAM/WEISSHAAR, where they worked from September 2009 to September 2013. Carles'sresponsibilities included computer graphics (OpenGL, processing) and web development (Ruby on Rails). Carles was involved in the Outrace project in 2010.

Prior to that, Carles worked at bluewalks as a Software Engineer in various roles, including CTO and developer, from March 2009 to August 2009. Carles played a significant role in the development of the iPhone App launched in September 2009.

Carles started their career as an intern at KRAM/WEISSHAAR, where they worked with computer graphics using OpenGL, Processing, and Java. Carles joined the Stockholm office from September 2007 to June 2009.

Additionally, Carles had an internship at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from September 2006 to July 2007.

Carles Tomás Martí pursued their education with a focus on computer engineering. From 2003 to 2008, they attended the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering. Following this, Carles enrolled at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2009 and earned a Civilingenjör degree in IT.
