Josselin Feist

Josselin Feist is a Principal Security Engineer at Trail of Bits. Josselin has also worked as a Ph.D. Student and Teaching Assistant.

Josselin Feist studied binary analysis to improve detection and exploitability classification of heap vulnera-bilities. Josselin also built an open-source static binary analyzer (GUEB). This tool was used to find new vulnerabilities in several software. Currently working on a guided symbolic execution engine that explores the results of a static analysis, in order to create proofs-of-concept and exploits.

Josselin Feist is a Master of Science student in the field of Networks and Embedded Systems at Télécom Physique Strasbourg.

They are on a team with Maciej Domanski - Application Security Engineer, Paweł Płatek - Security Engineer, and Nat Chin - Security Engineer. Their manager is Alex Useche, Lead Security Engineer.
