Thomas Achtelstetter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Thomas is currently the Chief Product Officer & Head of Strategy at Train Effective since July 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Product and Strategy at Train Effective from July 2020 to July 2021.

Thomas was also a Professional Youth Footballer in the DFB Talent Development Programme (pre-stage of German National Team) from September 2006 to September 2008.
Thomas Achtelstetter completed their high school education at Georg-Wilhelm-Steller-Gymnasium from 2005 to 2013. In 2014, they obtained the Chinese Proficiency Test HSK (Level 3) certification from Confucius Institute Online. In 2010, they obtained the Diplôme D'études en Langue Française (DELF A2) certification from Deutsch-Französisches Institut Erlangen. Thomas then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management Science at UCL from 2014 to 2017. Following that, Thomas attended the University of Oxford and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Contemporary Chinese Studies from 2017 to 2018. Lastly, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from 2018 to 2019.
