For more than 50 years, the Training Institute for Mental Health (TI) has provided affordable, high-quality therapy services & psychoanalytic training to professionals in New York City. 

TI also hosts an acclaimed training program for mental health professionals in psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, group and couples therapy.  

Highly respected in the field, TI is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York and is a 503(c)(3) nonprofit.

The Mental Health Clinicians team at the Training Institute for Mental Health provides a range of therapeutic services, including individual, couples, and group therapy. This interdisciplinary team, comprising experienced psychoanalysts, psychotherapists, and clinical instructors, is dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care while also training future professionals in psychoanalytic practices and psychotherapy techniques. Their work supports both direct client care and the development of practitioners through hands-on supervision and instruction.
