Karen Chivallati is an experienced educator and writer with a robust background in English language instruction and freelance writing. Currently serving as a Freelance Writer and Freelance Proofreader, Karen is also an English Second Language Teacher at Fitchburg Public Schools and an English Second Language Instructor with Training Resources of America. Karen has held various roles in the retail sector, including positions as a Retail Sales Merchandiser with Advantage Sales & Marketing and Acosta. Additional experience includes working as a Billing Coordinator for United Natural Foods and as a Hypnotherapist at Amaris Healing Arts. Karen Chivallati holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Franklin Pierce University and a Master of Education in the same field from Keene State College.

Training Resources of America Incorporated (TRA), formerly known as Mass. Job Training, is a private, non-profit organization that has been providing quality education, employment and training services in Massachusetts since 1975 and in other parts of the country since 1994. TRA has made it possible for thousands of educationally and economically disadvantaged youth and adults to improve the quality of their lives.
