Mateus Coutinho Marim

Mateus Coutinho Marim has had diverse work experiences. Mateus is currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at TrainWithMe since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, where they held various roles. As the Computing Academic Directory President, their tenure started in May 2019. Mateus also worked on a research project called "PIBIT - Language comparison through frames and constructions: Multilingual resources and translation" from November 2018 to December 2019. From March 2016 to November 2018, they underwent professional training and created a toolkit for machine learning algorithms. Additionally, Mateus served as the Computer Vision Director for the Rinobot robot soccer team from June 2016 to February 2018. Furthermore, they volunteered for the IEEE student branch from November 2014 to March 2017 and served as the President of the Computing Chapter at the IEEE UFJF Student Branch from November 2015 to November 2016. Finally, they received professional training for programming marathons from March 2015 to March 2016.

Mateus Coutinho Marim completed their education in a chronological manner. Mateus started in 2010 with a Technician program in Business Administration and Management at Ifes - Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo, which they completed in 2014. In the same year, they enrolled in the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora and pursued a B.Sc degree in Exact Sciences, which they completed in 2018.

Alongside their B.Sc degree, Mateus also enrolled in a B.Sc degree program in Computer Science at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora. Mateus started this program in 2014 and graduated in 2019. During their time in the university, they also earned certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from deeplearning.ai in November 2019, and they attended the XV Simpósio Brasileiro de Sistemas de Informação organized by GPITIC in May 2019.

Mateus further pursued their education by enrolling in a M.Sc. degree program in Computer Science at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, which they started in 2020. Mateus is expected to complete this degree in 2022. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Big Data - Foundations from Semantix Brasil in September 2021.
