Erin Childress

Erin Childress has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Erin is currently the VP, Head of Software Engineering at Trajector since 2024.

Prior to that, Erin worked at TransUnion from 2022 to 2023 as the Vice President of Engineering Enablement. In this role, they led a team responsible for engineering excellence, DevOps, quality engineering, and performance engineering. Erin also established an open-source program office and implemented quality gate standards.

Before TransUnion, Erin was the Senior Vice President of Technology at Amber Engine from 2020 to 2022. Erin also served as the CTO/Vice President of Software Development at the same company. Erin led a small team in developing and launching a SaaS platform.

From 2019 to 2022, Erin worked as the Owner/Principal Consultant at Green Barn Consulting. Erin provided project management and technical consultation to startup clients and acted as a fractional CTO/VP of Software Development when needed.

Erin has also held leadership positions at Veeder-Root, Monsanto Company, and Lexmark International, Inc. At Lexmark, they held multiple roles, including Director of Strategy, Director of Analytics & Managed Print Services, Director of Services & Solutions Software Development, and General Manager, Asia Pacific Software & Firmware Development.

Erin Childress has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Murray State University. Erin also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Morehead State University. In addition to their formal education, Erin has obtained several certifications including Business Analytics: Decision Making with Data from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, UC-Berkeley Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications from UC Berkeley Executive Education, CompTIA Security+ (SYO-601) Complete Course & Exam, Cyber Security: From Beginner to Expert, and Ultimate AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner-2022 from Udemy. Erin has also completed the Blue Ocean Strategy program from INSEAD, the Executive Development Program from University of Michigan - Stephen M.
