Hal Sprague

Hal is an environmental lawyer and moved to Illinois from the East Coast in 1993 to work at Abbott Laboratories. After retiring from Abbott in 2007, he worked at the Center for Neighborhood Technology in Chicago as a policy advocate until 2019. In early 2020, Hal joined the Trajectory team and has enjoyed his role as Community Solar Coordinator, educating residents, businesses and others about community solar in Illinois. He lives in Evanston and is active as a member of Citizens’ Greener Evanston, helping the City implement its Climate Action & Resilience Plan.

Hal graduated from Williams College, in Massachusetts, with a B.A. in Biology, from the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, with a M.S. in Water Resource Management, and from the University of Colorado, in Boulder, with a J.D.
