Ján Búza

Ján Búza has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ján started their career as a Business Development Intern at KeyRocket (Veodin Software GmbH) in 2013. Ján then worked as a Junior Consultant at PriceWise from February 2014 to August 2014. After that, they joined A.T. Kearney as a Consultant from September 2014 to August 2015.

In October 2015, Ján became the Head of Business Development at Exponea, where they managed the initial incorporation, valuation, and IP transfer. Ján was responsible for marketing, sales, and investor materials, as well as operations and cash-flow management. Ján worked at Exponea until May 2017.

From September 2015 to January 2020, Ján worked as an Associate at LRJ Capital. In September 2019, they co-founded CourtQuant, a company focused on bringing transparency into litigation through advanced AI algorithms. Ján was with CourtQuant until June 2020.

Ján joined the Akadémia kritického myslenia as a Co-founder in July 2016, and they co-founded Trama in 2020, where they currently hold the position of Head of Business Development. At Trama, they manage end-to-end brand protection services, including trademark registration, monitoring, management, and enforcement.

In addition to their roles at Trama and CourtQuant, Ján has served as an Advisor at ZAKA VC since August 2021 and at HubHub from February 2020 to October 2021. At HubHub, they played a key role in scaling the startup and innovation community, overseeing product development, pricing strategy, sales management, and corporate partnerships. Under their leadership, HubHub grew to over 2,300 members in five countries.

Ján Búza has an extensive education history. Ján started their academic journey in 2009 at Prague University of Economics and Business, where they earned a Bachelor's degree (Bc.) in International Business in 2012. During this time, they also attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2012, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

In 2012, Ján pursued further education at CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education, where they engaged in a Master's degree program. Simultaneously, they enrolled at Prague University of Economics and Business for a Master's degree in CEMS, International Management, which they completed in 2014.
