Majo Porvažník

Majo Porvažník's work experience includes:

- Currently, they are the Managing Co-founder at Vacuum Group, where they lead a technology hub and coordinates a portfolio of innovative companies.

- Majo is also a Co-founder and Strategic Mind at Sparring, a role they have held since 2018. Prior to that, they were the Co-founder and CEO of Sparring from 2018 to 2021.

- Majo serves as a Board Member at the Slovak Alliance for Innovation Economy since 2022.

- At Vacuumlabs, they have held two roles: Board Member (Legal & Strategy) since 2021 and Board Member (General Counsel) from 2016 to 2021.

- Majo is currently a Growth Advisor at Airvolute since 2023.

- Majo Porvažník founded Lepšia advokácia, a civic initiative focusing on advocacy improvement in Slovakia. Majo has been involved in this role since 2016.

- Majo has also served as a Member of the Commission for the Creation of Law (Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee) at the National Council of the Slovak Republic since 2020.

- Co-founder & Strategy at Verdikto since December 2020.

- Co-Founder at Trama since April 2020.

- Prior to these roles, they worked as a Junior Associate at Kinstellar from 2014 to 2016, where they were a member of the Corporate Law Team. Majo was also part of the Pro-Bono team advising Teach for Slovakia and The Friends of the Earth.

Majo Porvažník began their education at Paneurópska vysoká škola in 2007, where they pursued a degree in Business/Economics. Majo completed this degree in 2012. During the same period, from 2007 to 2014, they also attended Univerzita 'Pavla Jozefa Šafárika' v Košiciach, where they studied Law and obtained a JUDr. degree. In 2010, Majo attended the European University of Rome, specializing in European Law. In the following year, from 2011 to 2012, they studied Law at Masaryk University Brno. Their educational journey concluded in 2012 when they obtained an MJur degree from the University of Oxford's Faculty of Law.
