Bruno Jean-Etienne

Bruno Jean-Etienne has extensive work experience in the legal field. Bruno began their career as a Stagiaire at Confrontations Europe in 1995, followed by a Traineeship at the European Commission in 1998. Bruno then worked as a Trainnee Lawyer at Gide Loyrette Nouel in 1999 before joining SJ Berwin as a Lawyer from 1999 to 2002. Bruno then moved to DLA Piper, where they worked as a Lawyer providing EU competition law advice and legal advice to clients in various industries from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Ingersoll Rand as a Legal Counsel and progressed to roles including Senior Legal Counsel and Associate General Counsel, specializing in HVAC and Climate Solutions for EMEIA. Most recently, Bruno is employed at Trane Technologies as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, overseeing commercial HVAC operations in EMEA and ANZ.

Bruno Jean-Etienne's education history begins in 1987 when they attended Lycée Français d'Istanbul. Bruno completed their high school education there until 1990. Continuing their academic journey, they joined Université Paris 12 from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Maitrise degree in droit (law). In 1996-1997, Bruno pursued further studies at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, specializing in Droit Communautaire et européen (European and Community Law) and earned a DEA degree. In 1997-1998, they enrolled in the College of Europe, where they completed a Master's degree in EU Law. Lastly, in 2002, Bruno attended Ecole de Formation du Barreau de Paris for a year, receiving their CAPA certification.
