Carlos Cotrim has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Carlos began their career working as a business analyst and gradually progressed to roles focused on marketing and project implementation. From 1995 to 1999, Carlos worked various jobs, including selling encyclopedias door to door. In 1999, they joined Tranquilidade, where they held positions such as Segment Marketing Manager and Head of corporate commercial support unit. Carlos'sresponsibilities included leading teams, modernizing processes, and achieving sales growth and profitability. From 2016 to 2017, Carlos served as the Post-merger Integration Program Manager, successfully integrating Tranquilidade and Açoreana Seguros' commercial networks. Most recently, starting in 2017, Carlos became the Head of Commercial & Channels Development at Tranquilidade, where they focused on modernizing distribution channels and achieving customer satisfaction and value creation.

Carlos Cotrim earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management from the Instituto Superior de Gestão in 1999.
