Raj Kamal

Raj Kamal has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Raj is currently the Founder & CEO of TransFi and also serves as an Independent Director at LIC. Before this, they had a significant role as the Chief Executive Officer of OYO Vacation Homes from July 2020 to April 2021, and prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer from January 2020 to July 2020. Additionally, they co-founded Apara Capital from January 2018 to December 2019. Raj Kamal also held key positions at Naspers Limited, where they served as the Global Head of Investments / M&A and Global Head of Credit for Naspers Fintech - PayU from July 2015 to October 2017. Furthermore, they had a successful career at McKinsey & Company, starting as a Consultant from July 2003 to December 2010 and later becoming a Partner from January 2011 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, Raj Kamal was a part of the Indian Administrative Service for the Government of India, where they held various roles including Collector & District Magistrate in Korba and Director State Budget for the Government of Chhattisgarh from September 1994 to April 2002.

Raj Kamal's education history begins in 1988 when they attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and obtained a B Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1992. Following this, in 2002 they pursued an MBA at the Indian School of Business, specializing in Management. Finally, in 2017 they attended INSEAD for the International Directors Program, although the specific field of study for this program is not provided.
