Sam Allen

Sam Allen is an experienced professional with a diverse background in supporting marginalized communities and contributing to public welfare. Currently serving as a Warmline Operator at Trans Lifeline, Sam assists callers, primarily from the transgender community, by employing various techniques to alleviate stress and anxiety. Previous roles include Research Assistant at the San Joaquin Community Data Co-Op, where survey questions were developed, and Student Program Specialist at San Joaquin Delta College's Pride Center, focusing on the needs of LGBTQ+ students. Additional experiences include editing and writing for organizations and publications, along with academic credentials in religious studies and public administration from Starr King School for Ministry and California State University, Stanislaus.
